Thanksgiving

Christian at the pumpkin patch.  "All the earth is God's own field."

For, after all, put it as we may to ourselves, we are all of us from birth to death guests at a table which we did not spread. The sun, the earth, love, friends, our very breath are parts of the banquet.... Shall we think of the day as a chance to come nearer to our Host, and to find out something of Him who has fed us so long?
~Rebecca Harding Davis

This Thanksgiving, I just had to take a moment to say how thankful I am for my blessings.

I'm so grateful for my wonderful family, who show me in so many ways, large and small, their love for me.

I'm thankful for kind and loving friends.  I have so many good people in my life.  Bless you all for all that you do to brighten my otherwise lonely life.

I'm thankful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ that blesses my life every day.  I don't know what I would do without that blessing.  How wonderful that the priesthood has been restored to the earth, and that there is a prophet of God once more.  I am thankful for the guidance and comfort that comes from that knowledge.  What a tremendous blessing that is.  I'm privileged to associate with the Saints.  (Go Pickering Ward!)

Thanks to all you who take the time to read my musings - I appreciate your comments!  Blogging has added such fun to my life.  I love you all.

Happy Thanksgiving!
