The Hogle Zoo

Wow.  What is that?
The Hogle Zoo has graced these pages before, but I really like the place, and so do my friends and family.  The Zoo is located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan area in Utah.

My great-nephew Fred and his sister, Livia, got to visit this great place recently with their grandparents.

Farmor Kirsti and and squirmy Fredrik
The kids like birds, so they attended a bird show.

The American Bald Eagle
The Zoo has some magnificent birds there, such as the American Bald Eagle (above) and the Golden Eagle.  These are just beautiful birds of prey.

The Golden Eagle

It was a warm day, so after the show, it was time for some ice cream!

The Rare Pink-shoed Livia
That soft ice-cream looks pretty tasty!

Time for a big kiss for Mommy!
Livia did some exploring on her own.  Those are some pretty fancy chickens!

The souvenir shop provided some fun for the kids, too!

Livia isn't sure what to think of her Mom!
Big brother Fred gets a mask, too!

Livia doesn't know what to think!

Oh my!  That's a bit scary.

Mom sits back and watches
Pretty soon Livia gets into the act, too!  She doesn't want to be left out.

LOOK AT ME, DADDY!
This has been your visit to the Hogle Zoo with Fred and Livia.  Time to go, now!

K'THXBYEBYE
