Feed Your Spirit

You take the time to feed your body, you take time to feed your mind, when was the last time you fed your spirit?

Take some time for God this weekend, April 5th and 6th.

Twice a year the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meets in General Conference, held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Twice a year the 15 million members of the church world-wide get spiritually fed by Prophets, Seers and Revelators, men chosen by God, who have personal messages of hope and inspiration for you.

It's not all boring rhetoric.  You will be thrilled by the sounds of the Conference Center organ and the majestic Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

I love Conference weekends!  I get to snuggle up with my cat Jack on the couch and "attend church" in my jammies.  I usually keep a box of tissues handy.

Yes.  It's that good.

The Conference sessions are at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Savings Time; 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mountain Time.  All the sessions will be streaming live on BYU TV, through LDS.org and on YouTube.

All Sessions will be fairly immediately available on video and audio on LDS.org.  By Wednesday the 9th, print versions of all the addresses given will be posted on LDS.org.

The reason I post these messages twice a year is because I love you and want you to experience the same good things that are in my life.  God is real.  He loves us and has a plan for our happiness.  His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, stands at the head of this Church and directs its workings through living prophets.

Isn't it about time you checked that out for yourself?
