Tripping the Light Fantastic

Nicole and Sterling
Here are my Cousin Nicole and her husband in motion at the United States National Amateur Dance Sport Championships..  This event is sponsored by the National Dance Council of America (NDCA), the Official Governing Council of Dance and Dancesport in the USA.  The Championships were recently held at the Marriott Activity Center on the BYU Provo, Utah campus.

Nicole says, "It's probably the most trying and difficult thing we do together, but man do I love dancing with the husband."

I can imagine that being married to your partner is sometimes hard.  The training is grueling. They must put in a lot of hard work.

But I also imagine it is highly rewarding as well.  Particularly when they are so splendid at what they do.

They make it look so effortless!  And fun!

I know I'm prejudiced, but I think Nicole was the prettiest girl there.

It's so much fun to watch ballroom dancing!

Beautiful Lines!  Big Finish!
The NDCA is made up of more than 25,000 dance professionals across America.  They represent the interests of people in the dance profession and other dance-related entities and organizations and act in cooperation with similar councils in other countries.

They champion the establishment and maintenance of high standards in dance education.

Wasn't that fun? (I love that pink dress!) I think Valerie took some great photos!  I'm so glad I was able to share them with you!

I look forward to being able to see my cousin and her husband perform some day!
