The Soda Shop

Some friends recently took me up to Pasadena one evening for dessert!  These wild and crazy guys ended up at a soda pop and candy shop called Rocket Fizz.

It's quite the place!

They have all kinds of candy, as you can see from these photos that Ray took.  (Thanks, Ray!)

Not exactly a dieter's haven.  Ha!

But the best part was the incredible variety of sodas available.

They had some really different flavors available.  The guys opted for Creme Soda, and I got a ginger ale with pomegranate that was really good!  It was that old-fashioned ginger beer kind of soda that really has some bite to it.  Like Vernor's, before they changed the recipe and it got all wimpy and blah.

This is a fun place if you're looking for a unique soda pop.  The various brands of root beer alone, were really fun to see.
