Stealth Kitty

Find the kitty in the garden!
Spring is slowly coming to the Pacific Northwest.  My friend Desiree sent these photos she took of her garden, which is just beginning to bloom.

If you wonder what Angel, the cat, is doing sitting in the dirt concentrating so hard at... well, seemingly nothing...

Shhhhh.  She's being a stealth kitty.

Desiree explains that there are about fifty sparrows perched in the clematis vine above her out of camera range!   Fifty hungry sparrows.  You see, they are just waiting to swoop down to eat the seed that Desiree has put out for them.

Angel just wants to teach them patience, I suppose.

Okay, I know.  She's a cat.  Maybe she just can't resist teasing them.

Or wanting to eat them...

Desiree tells me the hyacinths are coming into bloom with the yellow daffodils.  The lilacs are pushing out their leaves and flower buds, but aren't quite ready to bloom yet.  The tulips, however, are budding and will bloom in a few weeks.

Isn't Spring a beautiful time of year?
