AstroCamp

Spring break is a fun time for kids - and perhaps not such a fun time for parents who work.  So Monterey Park's Repetto School children have the opportunity to attend Astro Camp to have some fun away from mom and dad for a few days during the spring break holiday.

The group is pictured above showing off the bottle rockets they made at camp.  They look pretty proud of their accomplishments!

My friend Aaron got to attend last year and again this year.  I hear he had a great time.  Aaron is the son of my co-worker Barbara, and big brother to Bianca, whose birth we chronicled on these pages last year.  He's a good kid, and a talented musician.

He's easy to pick out in the CSI hoodie (below).  And he's 4th from the left on the back row of the photo above.

Hats off to teachers and parents who provide these fun opportunities for kids to learn and have a good time together.
