Notice the Norwegian and Swedish flags on the Castle. (I see the Norwegian flags have taken precedence on the highest towers! Hurrah for the Norskies.) The Norwegian and Swedish flags are on the cake because Dad is predominantly Norwegian and Mom is predominantly Swedish.
What's a kid to do when you are caught in the middle? How do you choose?
So, it's become a tradition in my brother's house to always put a Norwegian and Swedish (and sometimes a good ol' American) flag on everything from Christmas trees to birthday cakes.
Looks like there was a full house for this occasion and a lot of fun.
