A Latter-day Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Thomas S Monson |
Twice a year, in October and April, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds a conference for the general membership of the church. This General Conference is attended by people from all over the world. Some flock to Salt Lake City for the event, filling the 21,000 seat Conference Center, and other buildings on Temple Square, to capacity.

The Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is an incredible state of the art facility |
Others of us tune in via television, radio and the internet. The sessions are translated into more than 90 languages.
Conference brings the more than 15 million Mormons throughout the world together in praise and worship. It is a time of instruction and renewal of faith.

People come from all over the world to attend these sessions |
I love Conference! The messages are uplifting, the music is heavenly and I always come away overwhelmed by the outpouring of the Spirit.
Jack and I will be watching all of the broadcasts on BYU-TV (Direct TV's Channel 374) this weekend. If you don't have access to BYU-TV, you can also tune in through the Mormon Channel, or at LDS.org, where it will be streaming live. The sessions are also broadcast via satellite transmission to LDS Stake Centers throughout the world.
Sessions are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mountain Time, which translates to 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific Time, Saturday, April 4th and Easter Sunday, April 5th.
